THE FASTEST WOOL

Lined with natural woolen fibers, the Supreme Jacket is ideal for high speeds in cold climates.

Working closely with our Norwegian National Cross-Country Ski Team brand heroes, DÆHLIE has given woolen ski wear a technical makeover.

Cross-country skiers’ hearts race as they push themselves to the limit in ice cold environments. They need ventilation and insolation at the same time. DÆHLIE builds on the Norwegian tradition of using wool when pursuing lofty goals. Like our famous polar explorers, we know that wool is the key to success.

MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE

PERFECTION IN EVERY FIBER

Wool is perfect for controlling body moisture during exertion”

Lead designer at Dæhlie, Eeva-Maria Männikkö.

“We did this to maximize high intensity performance in our cold climate. Wool is perfect for controlling body moisture during exertion,” says lead designer Eeva-Maria Männikkö. First, we introduced a technically advanced base layer in wool. Our Airnet base layer combines modern sportswear’s high tech with classic knitted mesh singlets. “The athletes love the Airnet base layer, even those who used to think their skin couldn’t handle a woolen base layer,” says Männikkö.

Now DÆHLIE has lined a fitted outer jacket with natural wool fibers. The jacket is suitable for colder days or longer sessions of medium intensity. Our brand heroes welcome this versatile jacket.

“Supreme Jacket handles the fluctuations in temperature during a training session. It is warm and breathable at the same time. Supreme is at its very best during long-distance skiing in hilly terrain in cold temperatures,” says Norwegian skiing champion Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen.

To accomplish this, the jacket uses 3-layered softshell material, with a wool blend completely incorporated on the inside. In short: The Supreme is a warm, breathable, lightweight, tight fitting and quick drying jacket for the demanding cross-country skier.
